I have been working as a Speech and Language Therapist both for the NHS and privately for ten years. During my time in the NHS I worked in a community clinic, nurseries, primary schools and a specialist language unit for young children. I have a first class Masters degree in Speech and Language Sciences from University College London. I am member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Private Practice. I am also registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council.
I trained as a speech therapist because I see communication as being at the heart of children's development and social wellbeing. I am passionate about working with children and their families to enable those young people to reach their full potential. As a mother of three young children myself, I understand the challenges and rewards of parenting!
